Oriam was founded in 1989 by Dr. Michel Laborde in response to the needs of clinical research organizations to manage their existing IT applications. The company staff is almost entirely comprised of previous members of pharmaceutical laboratories in order to garner great depth of understanding of these needs. Our objective has been to develop our client base at an international level to enrich the knowledge of our staff in the clinical processes of companies of all sizes and all cultures.

With the wisdom of these resources we have developed products and tools which offer the functionality and efficiency necessary to confer maximum flexibility and daily productivity, all within an intuitive interface.

Conscious of the constant evolution imposed by regulations and technology, we continuously develop our products. In collaboration with our clients by way of a very active User Group, we have created and augmented functions permitting us to respond to these two driving forces. Our Internet and PDA modules, scheduled for imminent release, are the most recent products responding to technical evolution. Our compliance to Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11 and electronic transmission of documents are the most recent developments responding to regulatory demands.

In a drive to provide more efficient clinical trial management, we have bridged the gap between our products and external data sources. Our teams, in conjunction with our clients, have created interfaces and portals to external vendors, such as IVRS companies, and internal applications, such as accounts payable, project planning, or financial forecasting. This electronic data entry and integrated data sharing increase the management capabilities of our products while reducing the user's time investment.
