Founded in 1989 by Michel Laborde M.D., a physician with computer engineering experience, ORIAM S.A. designs, develops and commercialises clinical research software for the pharmaceutical industry.

Thanks to the experience of its personnel and the quality of its products, ORIAM rapidly acquired the respect of numerous pharmaceutical and biotech companies.




- 1989 Creation of ORIAM,

- 1993 Creation of ORIAM Diffusion to handle software commercialisation in Europe.
Creation of THERIAMIS, a CRO specialized in data management and statistical analysis of clinical trial data.

- 1998 REAL SOFTWARE NV buys a portion of ORIAM.

- 1999 Update of the Quality Manual and quality procedures covering all ORIAM activities in compliance with ISO 9001 guidelines.

- July 2001 : Creation of ORIAM Corp., Boston MA, to strengthen our position on the US market and to provide Services to our US Clients (technical help, user consultancy).
